Haven't updated the NEWS page in nearly six months, but here we are
in year TWO of hello come in and we have seen many new changes. One major development of note
is the introduction of the newly launched year-long effort, hello.music.
Check out the blog for more details.
Enjoy the new sights and sounds.
Its been a few months since we have had anything new to report. That is, until now!
We have worked hard to make our blog, hellowords, much more efficient.
Check it out, leave comments, make impossible demands. We are hard at work to bring some new and amazing
ideas to the second season of hello.column.
And hopefully some new music sooner than later. Now that we are all equipped with softwares and hardwares, look
for some hello.synthpop. In the meantime, take a listen at our new music page 2.0, now in
technicolour!
Newly added music from the Missing Trio archive can be found on our music page.
The first is a live show from Manhattan, Kansas' Gumby's Pizza and Pub. It turns out this was the Trio's last formal performance.
We are especially keen about the 'Spiders' from set two. A few days later after having this breakthrough show, we convened in
in Lawrence to watch the season finale of the hit guilty pleasure reality show, The Apprentice.
Dressed in business casual attire, we watched the drawn out tv melodrama unfold and afterwards went to play
music. What came out was completely improvised on the spot yet the connection and telepathy was uncanny.
We dubbed this a turning point in our development as a group and named the sessions The Apprentice Tape.
Thanks Donald! Take a listen here!
You might have seen his contributions to the weekly feature hello.column, but now we have made Greg Johnson an offical member of the hello come in family. While this might not really mean much to our audience of none, we hope that Greg will be part of our long term plans of indie-media dominance. Stay tuned in coming months for new musics (not archival), new editorial features and future self-serving distractions. Check out here.
Witness the DEBUT of hello.column, a new weekly feature that will find us discussing the ins and outs of all things movies, music, politik, science, news and much more. Using email and instant messages, the column will follow through the various tangents and plot points of most conversations. Check it out here.
From our own personal archives we are making available our live shows of the Housewreckers' and the Missing Trio's not so distant past. They are newly available for your listening pleasure here.
Even NEWER downloads are now available. 3 more tracks from the live Housewreckers album, as well as the Missing Trio's debut release You Sleep During the Daytime, I Sleep at Night are newly available for listen here.
