problem: implement a microprocessor design using multiple PLDs

design: The design restriction here was to create a functional 8 bit microprocessor, using PAL22v10 chips. This use of older model microcontrollers was to force the design to be split up onto multiple chips. Each section was implemented and debugged separately, using logic input sets. The final outcome was put together onto a TORO board and wire wrapped together. A simple test program was run using an external memory device and computer interface.

This code was written using WinCUPL, and debugged using many man hours, an oscilloscope, and pencil.
